About Kathy Rainwater

I help people by listening to what they want from counseling, incorporating their values and Christian values to determine goals. Treatment plans are behavioral and specific using cognitive emotional reframing to achieve positive attitudes. Supportive encouraging confidential responses focus on the person's current and longer term situations. Goals are determined by assessing symptoms and circumstances using Biblical principals. Prayer is included as desired.

I often talk to people about their life's goals and journey. I am a listening compassionate person that helps to make a difference in feeling better and making better decisions. People and relationships are valuable. Also discuss better use of money and time. I will help you plan. 

Our practice is Rainwater Counseling, consisting of my husband Paul, also LPC, and myself. We have worked together for over 20 years. We went to graduate school together at Georgia State University. We have raised three children together. We have dedicated ourselves to reach out to hurting people and help make a difference in their lives.
